Complicated is a trio but could be an orchestra, if needed. It’s a diversion underlying an idea, the purpose of representing «the vitality of the morning, the laziness of the afternoon, the dizziness of the evening». Complicated is the the first album of a career that will be either very short or very long. Excluded are midways. Escluded are compromises. Escluded is the third chord, cause even two are too much. Simone Alteri (Shout, Esercizi base per le cinque dita, Simic), Ettore Pistolesi (Shout, Poptones, Flying Vaginas) and Gianluca Testani (Mosquitos) did imagine and play and dance it on hot and cold days through 2014 and 2015 using old and recycled toys. And if someone would ask them why, being in three, they put two giraffes on the front cover, they would respond «tsk» with a shrug.
